BEDROOM:
The master bedroom is located on the second floor and features a queen size bed and ample closet space to store your belongings.
The French window allows refreshing breezes to enter. The window is super-insulated design that all but eliminates exterior noise, leading many guests to remark on how quiet the apartment is for city living.
There is a day bed and a sleep sofa downstairs that can sleep two extra guests.
AIR CON: For warmer months, we install a European-style air conditioner that sits in the bedroom and is elegantly vented through a cut-out in the insulated window. This unit, along with a second unit in the living room, keep the apartment cool and comfortable during any hot spells.
KITCHEN:
Whether you plan on preparing gourmet meals or simple snacks, the fully-equipped galley kitchen contains everything you’ll need.
While your coffee is brewing you can pop out and be at the corner bakery in 30 seconds to pick up warm croissants.
The kitchen provides ample pots, pans, and baking dishes; salad and mixing bowls; a spinner; cooking and serving utensils; and generous stocks of spices, oils, coffee filters, kitchen wrap, food storage containers, paper towels, cleaning supplies, and dishwasher and laundry supplies. Our goal is for you to spend your time enjoying Paris rather than shopping for the basics !
DINING:

BATHROOM:
There’s a deep, oversized tub and a separate tiled shower, along with a sink, toilet, bidet and heated towel rack. Cabinets provide ample space for guest toiletries and belongings. Towels are provided.
This bathroom can be accessed without going through the master bedroom, so downstairs guests can use it without disturbing upstairs guests. The half bath on the first floor contains a sink and toilet.

The living room offers a CD player/iPod dock, plus an extraordinary library of books on the art deco era, art deco architecture, design, painting, and decorative arts, and French history and culture.
TELECOMMUNICATION:
The Internet-Enabled TV is here to let you see what’s going on in the world with hundreds of channels in many languages and CNN and BBC in English. You can also use the TV to check your email or browse the internet.
But remember, you didn’t come to Paris to care about what’s going on in the world. So set it to some digital classical radio instead and sip some wine and nibble some fromage, now that’s better.
Calling friends back home or checking your email is simple. Your flat is set up with free WiFi, and unlimited free telephone calls to over 70 countries, including the U.S., Canada and Australia.
ABOUT YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD:
The apartment is in the 16th arrondissement, long known as one of the most fashionable, beautiful and affluent sections of Paris. Often compared to London’s Kensington and Chelsea, it is an area of elegant boulevards, stylish boutiques, and bustling neighborhood centers. Broad, tree-lined streets give you more breathing room than in the crowded and noisy tourist districts. Guests say that staying here makes them feel like Parisians instead of visitors.
While offering an excellent refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city, the apartment is also in a great location. The Métro will take you to the Champs Elysées in six minutes; to the grand downtown department stores in 12 minutes; to the Louvre in 15 minutes. And if you feel like strolling, the Eiffel Tower, Trocadéro, and Arc de Triomphe are all within easy walking distance of the apartment.
The owner of the apartment has been renting the apartment for many, many years now and has received an overwhelmingly positive response from his past guests. We’ve decided to add a few of these reviews here and more are available upon request.
Excellent Apartment Made Trip Super Special
“We had very high expectations of this property due to the other reviews and the photos of the apartment. Our expectations were more than exceeded! This apartment was probably the difference between our having an excellent holiday versus a very lovely holiday. It was an oasis from the chaos of the city and yet just minutes away from the vibrancy of the city.
In terms of location, the apartment is a 5-minute walk to a central metro line and a 10-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. And yet, when you’re in the neighborhood, you feel like you’re a Parisian. In a 2-3-block radius there is a fromagerie, an excellent boulangerie, a chocolate shop, two butcher shops, two grocery stores, a flower shop, a bistro full of locals, and so much more.
The layout of the apartment is also excellent—it’s like an American “townhouse” in that the downstairs contains the living space (dining area, kitchen, living room, and small bathroom) and the upstairs has the personal space (the bedroom, a landing that works as a tv/reading room and workspace, and a large bathroom). The layout means that you’re not constantly stumbling over one another. There’s plenty of room to be together (we were just two people) and to also have some quiet time. The apartment furnishings are lovely, but not so precious that you feel like you’re in a museum. I felt welcome to look through the many books, play CDs, and make good use of the kitchen.
The apartment owner provided excellent information that prepared us well for the trip. The property was very clean and well maintained.
I travel very frequently for work and my husband and I travel quite a bit for vacations. We love hotels and tend to stay in 4-5 star hotels. So, we’ve enjoyed a certain level of comfort and reception. I’ve even stayed in nice hotels in Paris, but having a “home” in Paris is so much nicer than having a “room”! Our experience at this apartment was by far the most delightful we’ve had on a holiday ever.
I highly recommend this apartment to other travelers and plan to come back as soon as possible!”
I Would Never Stay Anywhere Else!
“As I will embark on my 7th visit to this apartment, I decided that I must write a review on “my Parisian home”. This is the best home away from home you could ever imagine. The ultra-modern decor is very inviting. I used to stay in luxury hotels near the Champs Elysees or across from the Opera. Very expensive and just a tiny room with a tiny bathroom. This apartment is more than an apartment, it’s a townhouse with all of the amenities. Full kitchen with everything you need if you dare cook. Eating area is surrounded by beautiful artwork. Two supermarkets, two fresh fruit and vegetable stores, and two bakeries are within a 4 minute walk. You are also five minutes from the metro or a nice walk to the Trocadero, which has the most fabulous views of the Eiffel Tower (perfect photo opportunity).
It’s so nice to come back to the house after a day in all of the touristy areas to a nice relaxing home. I usually warm up a towel on the towel warmer in the bathroom, run a bath, and play one of the many jazz cds in the music library after a busy day of museums and shopping. This is a location that I can definitely recommend, but please don’t try to book my weeks in the Spring.”
We Loved It
“A big thank you for the amazing time we spent in the apartment. It was truly our home away from home. We loved the apartment and we loved the neighborhood. We loved how easily we could walk to places or use public transportation. We loved that so many stores, restaurants and other amenities were just a few steps away. We loved all the books and artwork.
The apartment is very comfortable, spotless, incredibly organized and equipped with everything one might need. All the information the owner provides about the apartment and Paris makes everything completely effortless. We were greeted with beautiful flowers in every room and with bread, cheese, fruit, madeleines and wine which made for a lovely dinner the evening we arrived.
You can’t go wrong with the owner’s recommendations and his favorite things to do! The farmer’s market is a must! We couldn’t be happier we chose this apartment for our stay in Paris. It will without a doubt be our home away from home when we return.”
